Description
This 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500E was delivered new through Star Motor Cars of Houston and remained in Texas under two owners before the consignor acquired it in 2014 and commissioned a two-year, photo-documented restoration using NOS Mercedes-Benz mechanical and interior parts. The engine, transmission, brakes, and limited-slip differential were all rebuilt or upgraded during that work. It earned a 100-point Best of Marque award at the 2016 Legends of the Autobahn and Best in Class at the 2023 Turtle Invitational, and is offered at no reserve.
