Description
This 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing carries a rare combination of factory competition options: a matching-numbers NSL-series engine with high-performance camshaft and recalibrated injection, sport suspension, and Rudge knock-off wheels, all confirmed by its factory build record. Finished in German Racing Silver over red leather with plaid seat inserts, it was restored body-on by Bob Smith Coachworks in the 1990s and has been sparingly used since. It is offered with Karl Baisch luggage, belly pans, tool kit, jack, and knock-off hammer, and carries a documented ownership history through several California and Texas collectors.
