Description
This 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster, a first-year-production example built for the US market, retains its numbers-matching engine, gearbox, rear axle, front axles, steering box, and body following a comprehensive body-off restoration carried out in the mid-2010s. It is currently finished in Anthracite Grey Metallic over red leather, having left the factory in Fire Engine Red over Crème leather. The car is accompanied by copies of its data card, owner's manuals, tool kit, fitted luggage, and restoration photographs, and is offered with reserve.
