Description
This 1979 Ferrari 512 BB/LM is the seventh of 25 examples built, finished in the purpose-built Pininfarina Silhouette coachwork of the second-series cars, which featured Lucas fuel injection, a strengthened transaxle, and revised brakes and suspension over the first-generation Le Mans cars. Ferrari Classiche certified in 2010 with a Red Book confirming matching-numbers engine, gearbox, and coachwork, and benefiting from a Ferrari Classiche restoration completed in 2014. It is offered from ten years of current ownership and was featured in Autoweek in May 1981.
