This 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series I by Pinin Farina was the New York International Automobile Show car, finished in Rosso Metallizzatto over Naturale leather with covered headlights, bumperettes, and no front fender vents — a configuration close to the final prototype. The numbers-matching chassis retains its original engine, gearbox, and rear axle, and has passed through just four private owners, including noted collectors Norman Silver and John W. Mecom Jr., with over 40 years in single ownership. It took 2nd in Class, Postwar Preservation, at the 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and is offered at reserve.
