1983 Lancia Rally 037 Evolution II

Description

This 1983 Lancia Rally 037, factory-upgraded to Evolution II specification by Lancia Rally Service in 1986, was delivered new to Spanish privateer José Bernardo Cardín and campaigned in national and regional Spanish rallies through 1989, including an outright win at the 1986 Rallye San Agustín. It retains its original El Gaitero Competición red-and-white livery and remained with its first owner until 2021, supported by factory correspondence, invoices, and continuous documentation throughout. It is offered at reserve by its current American owner, who acquired it that year.
