This 1968 Porsche 907 Langheck was driven by Elford, Neerpasch, Stommelen, Siffert, and Herrmann to overall victory at the 1968 24 Hours of Daytona — Porsche's first outright win at a 24-hour race — and finished 2nd overall at the Monza 1000 Km later that season. Its ultra-low-drag long-tail bodywork houses a Type 771 four-cam flat-eight rebuilt by Ed Pink Racing Engines, and a decade-long restoration by Porsche marque authority Joe Cavaglieri returned the car to its Daytona debut configuration.
